Automobile Industry consists of a complex set of business verticals.
The given flow chart is an attempt to understand them. One need not just look for major auto manufacturers only ... the multi baggers come from various underlying verticals which tend to serve more than one manufacturer and thus are better cushioned to smooth out the problems and scale ahead.
I will cover some of these later for better understanding.
